What I offer
I offer you my services as a mediator for out-of-court conflict resolution, and as a general consultant for communication issues.
My focus here is on business-orientated issues – both for individuals and for companies.
You can count on the fact that, for me, a focus on people and goals as well as a sense of responsibility are fundamental principles of everything I do.
We take action together – consistently committed, and always as focused and efficient as possible.
We listen to each other – until we really understand each other. And we discuss what can, should and must be done.
Mediation
Mediation is a process for the out-of-court, constructive resolution of conflicts. Mediation is confidential, structured, voluntary and open-ended. The parties involved in the mediation (the so-called mediants) are interested in constructive conflict resolution, act on their own responsibility and develop their own solutions with the support of a mediating professional (mediator). The results are legally binding.
As a mediator with over 20 years of professional experience, it goes without saying that I want the mediating parties to find a solution that satisfies them.
Amicable conflict resolution
Careful conflict counselling enables all parties involved to work through the conflict comprehensively and find lasting solutions. This can be achieved in a single meeting or over the course of several joint meetings or individual discussions. I will accompany you on this journey. I act impartially and will moderate using methodical standards in order to find the ideal form of conflict resolution for you and to be in the position to lead the discussions towards consensual goals.
Collaborative law and practice (clp)
«Are you looking for a lawyer, but not a dispute?» Then you should choose the procedure known as collaborative law and practice (clp).
So-called «clp» is an out-of-court, structured and fully cooperative procedure for conducting disputes in which party lawyers also participate. All parties involved (parties/attorneys/specialists) work towards a single goal: a balanced solution for all involved. The lawyers and specialists are trained and certified, and the negotiations usually take place verbally.
Advice and support in negotiations and arbitration
In both state and non-state proceedings, parties sometimes find themselves in situations where complex negotiations have to be conducted or important decisions have to be made. Such negotiation phases are often very stressful: There is usually a lot at stake, and negotiating tactics are usually required. Careful, forward-looking planning for individual phases or support during the entire negotiation process can take the pressure off and be a decisive factor in finding a solution that is ultimately perceived as successful.
Coaching for challenging discussions and negotiations
It’s challenging to have difficult conversations and convince others of your point of view. It takes a keen instinct, careful preparation and nerves of steel. I can prepare you specifically for those moments when your appearance, conversation, wordings, and message – whether verbal or written – are particularly important. I can advise you on how to conduct yourself in front of a critical audience, in complex negotiations and in decisive discussions. And I am at your disposal for ghostwriting, text editing and drafting texts of all kinds (legal as well as non-legal content).
Arbitration
Arbitration is a means of settling disputes through so-called arbitration proceedings. Arbitration tribunals are non-state courts that convene on the basis of a formal – usually contractual – arbitration agreement between the parties to the dispute. Their judgements, known as arbitration awards, are generally legally binding for the parties and can be enforced in state courts if necessary.
I offer my services as a party arbitrator, as well as an individual arbitrator.
